ELMAN was chosen as an integrator and supplier in the construction of a Mobile Center for the new MRCC (Maritime Rescue Coordination Center) in Libya.
The project, led by the Italian Navy and entrusted to the company RI Group, sees ELMAN as responsible for the integration of the communication system and GMDSS.
In addition to providing its own radios and AIS, ELMAN integrates the NAVTEX and Inmarsat subsystems and Rohde & Schwarz HF radios into the system. Through the VISus terminal, operators will be able to use all the radio resources at their disposal.
The aim of the project is to increase the safety of navigation in the Mediterranean sea and in the Sicilian channel.
