ELMAN presence in Morocco

In the year 2010 ELMAN has founded a branch in Morocco following the award of a tender issued by the Direction de la Marine Marchande for the supply of a series AIS stations throughout the Moroccan coastline. In recent years, ELMAN has strengthened its presence on the Moroccan territory through the acquisition of new projects for the implementation of port VTSs and maintenance services for the long term.
In 2019 ELMAN won the tender for the design and development of the VTS and PMIS for the Port of Tanger Ville.
In 2019 ELMAN was also entrusted with the maintenance and refitting of the VTS at the port of Mohammedia, a project acquired through our local partner.
In 2020 ELMAN was commissioned to maintain the Nador port VTS system.
Last year, three different systems were also acquired for the National Ports Agency (ANP) for Laayoune, Casablanca and Agadir. ELMAN has been awarded the maintenance of these VTS systems, for a period of three years.
In all ports the old VTS software was replaced with the new ELMAN PELAGVS, moreover the control centers have also been equipped with new ELMAN VHF and AIS coast stations.
Regarding the current year, ELMAN is pleased to announce the award of the tender for the new VTMIS for the port of Tan Tan.
In 2022 ELMAN will also implement the extension of the national GMDSS network mandated by the “Ministry of Agriculture, Sea Fishing, Rural Development and Water and Forest Resources” of the Kingdom of Morocco.
In addition to the projects described above, completed or under development, in 2019 ELMAN was the winner of the tender for the new VTMIS in Dakhla, but the project has been temporarily suspended due to the pandemic emergency and for infrastructural developments.
Looking forward, ELMAN aims to strengthen its position as leader in Morocco in the fields of coastal control and safeguarding of life at sea.
